Celebration of Life

In Christ's Embrace

We take comfort in the knowledge that Pst. Arthur is now resting in the loving embrace of Christ. He lived a life fully devoted to Christ, even up to his last moment. We are grateful for the life he lived on earth, and we draw strength from his faith and God’s promise of eternal life.

He was a husband, father, brother, uncle, and nephew.

In a world filled with people, you just had to take one.
Oh death, you went too far!!

Booooss, as I’d fondly call him, has remained a pillar and a bright torch in good and bad times.

A guide when the way was dark, a father, a friend, a tutor amongst many other things. Your unwavering devotion to ensuring that every soul around you stays strong at all times, generosity a compound name, prayer, and support have left legacies that continue to inspire us all to keep living.

At this point with pain and tears in our eyes, hearts, and souls, we recall and cherish every moment spent, every advice given, every spiritual enlightenment, planned trips to Kilimanjaro, every assistance and words of hope that kept us through the journey both on my end and the body of christ entirely.

I miss you,
Ebube misses you,
The body of Christ misses you,
We all miss you,

And we’d love to meet and dine again and hear you saying, ,
Shout, shout, shout, HALLELUYAH when the Master calls us all home.

Rest in Power Daddy.

Your PA,

Dcns. Lulu-Chukwu Nkechi.

Tribute to my Friend’s Dad!

A few month’s back I remember Faith celebrating you on your birthday on her whatsapp status and I sent my best wishes also. To say your exit few months after your birthday celebration was shocking is an understatement.

The brief period of time that I spent with you and the entire family was a remarkable one and leaves an indelible mark on me. I got to meet you by virtue of the fact that my school was on strike that year and I was in owerri for the wedding of one of our course mates and I passed the night with Faith your daughter in your house.
Much as you were protective of your daughter and concerned that she brought a stranger to your house, I was received with respect and dignity and in the shortest possible time. You were able to interact with me like someone you had known from Adam.

Your were youthful, full of life the time I visited. Why death would visit you at this time, full of life, zest and energy still remains a mystery to us all.

The testimonies of your generosity are still on the lips of many who encountered you and I wish you were still around to do more.

We will miss you dearly, and you will forever be in our hearts.

Adieu!!

Chiamaka Chine Nee Ekwughe
Your Daughter’s friend

You played a very important role in my life by making me feel and understand what a father’s love entails. May God bless your good will. You fought a good fight of faith. I am only left with ur memories. Farewell uncle.

I can remember while in school your daughter Amarachi faith my course mate always had her Dad on her lips, what a bond!!!..it’s a pity you had to leave her and Answer God’s call,it’s no news that Death awaits us all,we all will answer one day.Testimonies has shown a good man you are,Do watch over faith and your entire family. May your Gentle Soul Rest in Perfect Peace.Amen.

TRIBUTE FROM TRINITY HIGH SCHOOL OGUTA OLD BOYS ASSOCIATION (TOBA) WORLDWIDE, TO PASTOR ARTHUR ORISHAEMEKA UZOARU, A SENIOR MAN OF GOD, A GREAT TRINITY OLD BOY, OF THE EXCELLENT ACHIEVERS 1973 SET:

We the Trinity Old Boys were greatly saddened to learn about the demise of our old boy Pastor Arthur Uzoaru. We had celebrated the birthday of our beloved brother on the 17th of January, 2024. Recently his classmate at Trinity High School Oguta, Chief Dr Humphrey Ugo had asked our old boys to pray for Pastor Arthur for divine intervention and healing. Sadly, we were shattered by the news of his death.

Psalm 89:48 “What man is he that liveth, and shall not see death? shall he deliver his soul from the hand of the grave? Our Days Are Numbered. All the days ordained for Us were written in Your book before one of them came to be (Psalm 139:16). How many days do we have left? We don’t know. No one does, except God.

Certainly death is inevitable, every living soul has its coupon already issued depending on when, where, and how. But it is most certain that we will all embark on that eternal journey someday. Inspite of this, we still grieve when a beloved one dies, particularly when it concerns a very kindhearted man like Pastor Arthur Uzoaru. Indeed the sorrow of losing a special person like our beloved Man of God is an extreme, emotional and severe one.

We thank our Almighty God – God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, the Blessed Holy Trinity, for raising up Pastor Arthur Uzoaru and using him to positively inspire others and impact on their lives. Although we would all have loved to see you live longer than you did, it was not to be. It was the decision of the Lord God Almighty, thy creator, to call thee home at the appointed time. Naked we came from our mothers’ womb, and naked we will depart. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; Blessed be the name of the Lord (Job 1:21). We are persuaded that you have gone to a better place to be with your maker, a place of no suffering, no pain, no sickness and no disease, For God will wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away (Revelation 21:4).

Pastor Arthur, 7 You have fought the good fight, you have finished the race, you have kept the faith. 8 Now there is in store for you the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to you on that day—and not only to you, but also to all who have longed for His appearing ( 2 Timothy 4:7-8).

We will surely miss you our beloved Senior Old Boy and Man Of God (MOG). We pray that as thou hast gone to be with the Lord thy maker, the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of all compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God, will comfort thy immediate family and the entire Uzoaru and TOBA family worldwide, in this difficult and trying time (2 Corinthians‬ ‭1:3-4‬).

FAREWELL SENIOR ARTHUR UZOARU, MAN OF GOD (MOG), A COMMITTED MEMBER OF TOBA WORLDWIDE, AS THE ANGELIC HOSTS OF HEAVEN RECEIVE YOU INTO THE PARADISE OF CHRIST YOUR LORD, SAVIOUR AND MASTER, WHOM YOU SERVED FAITHFULLY IN THE DAYS OF YOUR SOJOURN IN THIS WORLD OF SPACE AND TIME (SPACE-TIME WORLD).

Goddy Achunine – TOBA PRESIDENT WORLDWIDE, On Behalf Of Trinity High School Oguta Old Boys Association (TOBA) Worldwide

In knowing Faith, One immediately knows the kind of man Pst Arthur is. While we certainly are hurt by his demise, we are deeply comforted that he is with the father and that’s a major one. Adieu Papa

It’s true I haven’t met you physically, but each time I see a picture of you, you’re either dancing, nor singing, you were such a playful person, it’s good you’re in a better place, dancing and singing for your maker. Sleep well Daddy 💜

The world tends to measure men with what they have; however, I found your great measure in what you gave.

You always had a kind word to give, a joke to share, strength to support, wisdom to lend.

I never saw you without a smile.

Now you’re smiling in a different place; a perfect place.

Thanks for being a man of great measure.

Your love and kindness will live on in every life you touched.

I remembered December 2019 – February 2020, the little time time I spent with you big daddy at home, you made me to love Christ and also church, and also advised me to settle down since I have spent so many years in the Navy, now that i have decided to settle down and prepare for my marriage, you are no more, you’ll forever be in my heart, you are gone but can never be forgotten because your legacy lives in us, you have showed us the way of christ and we will live that part whuch you have set for us, i promise to continue what you have started in the family, Rest in Perfect Peace Big Daddy.
Dele.

The news of your demise came as a huge shock to me. Our consolation is that at the end, we shall meet to part no more. Your exit in the family has left a vacuum. I am really short of words. I will always remember you. Farewell my brother. Adieu.

I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Pst Orishaemeke Arthur Uzoaru. His loss is profoundly felt, not only within the church community but also among those whose lives he touched as a mentor and father figure.

Pastor Uzoaru’s legacy of faith, compassion, and wisdom will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him. May his memory be a source of comfort and strength during this difficult time, and may his spirit live on in the hearts of those he guided and nurtured.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences and know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and the entire community as you mourn the loss of such a beloved figure.

May you find solace in the cherished memories and the profound legacy he leaves behind.

Arthur loved God with everything he had. He was passionate about his work and was fun to be with. He loved his family and would do all to support every one of his children and his well beloved wife.
He was one of our key leaders in the SU fellowship back in the days at Adapalm and contributed his quota in promoting the work of God especially among young people.
He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Mr Chinedu Uzoaru is a wonderful personality. In a short period of time frame I knew him, he’s proven himself to be a valuable asset to the community we network with and other sphere of life.

I want to be spot on by saying Mr Chinedu’s Dad gave birth to a great son that will make impact globally. Your Dad is in the Almighty God’s Bossom living eternally at the other side of life.

May Almighty God gives you and your family peace, love, compassion, mercy, Grace, abundance and wealth to execute and do great things as we move ahead. Amen.

You are special to me. Thank you. 🙏🏽

Yours Faithfully. 🤍

It is with agony and sadness that we write this tribute. It is very hard to believe that we won’t see u again.Yours was a life of service to humanity. A bridge builder u were. We’ll miss ur accommodating spirit and sacrificial love. “To everything there’s a season and a time to every purpose under heaven: a time to be born and time to die; a time to plant and a time to reap. You’d passed through times and seen seasons and u never failed in utilizing every opportunity offered by times and seasons. U indeed planted in times and seasons: U planted hope, knowledge skills, wisdom and faith in so many lives. There are sure many fruits abiding and multiples springing up and spreading all over the world. There will be no end to the fruits of ur labour. No,not until Christ comes. You’re a conqueror. Surely,u’re a hero of Christ. Ur works and memories live on. Rest in peace our legend and hero. Rest in perfect peace Christ’ Soldier of Salvation!
